ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with A New Deal Irrigation (A N D Inc) of Wylie, Texas for Irrigation Services: Repair and Installation.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 19-17FP Irrigation Services: Repair and Installation on February 17, 2019.

o 339 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
• In response to all notices published, three (3) bids were received on March 7, 2019.
• An evaluation team comprised of three City employees, two from the Parks Maintenance department and one from Water Utilities Inspection department, reviewed and ranked the bid based on the following criteria:
o Purchase Price
o Reputation of bidders goods and services verified through references
o Extent to which goods and services met the City’s needs
o Response Time
• The evaluation team recommends awarding all irrigation services for repair and installation to A New Deal Irrigation (A N D Inc) of Wylie, Texas.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with additional two (2) one-year renewals.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for these services is budgeted in account 001-4306-453-8402.
