ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with Aleksander Omega, LLC to provide construction services related to the Exterior ADA Improvements Project at McKinney Senior Recreation Center located at 1400 S. College Street, McKinney, Texas 75069 for a not to exceed amount of $236,500 including a contingency of $21,500.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• A request for competitive sealed proposals (RFCSP 19-36RFCSP) was issued on March 17, 2019 and a total of five firms responded.
• Aleksander Omega, LLC is a North Texas construction firm with corporate offices located in Cedar Hill. They have completed projects with similar scope including accessibility alterations, sidewalk upgrades, accessible ramps and more for municipalities, government entities and school districts.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for this project is available in Project FC2239. With approval of this item, the total project budget remaining for Project FC2239 will be $1,018,913.
