ITEM SUMMARY: 

    The MCDC board is committed to supporting City Council’s strategic goals and helping implement Parks and Recreation’s 2017 Visioning Master Plan.

    The purpose of this meeting and discussion is to share information on prospective projects and priorities for incorporation in near- and long-term funding strategies to ensure effective fulfillment of Council goals.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

The MCDC Board and PROS Board will review prospective projects for MCDC funding in FY 19/20 within the context of:

    Projects permissible under state law (the Texas Local Government Code - Chapters 501 - 505;

    The 2017 Parks Visioning Master Plan;

    Council Goals adopted in 2018;

    MCDC priorities identified at their regular meeting held on April 25, 2019; and

    The May 4, 2019, Bond Election results.
