RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the Ordinance
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance will amend Section 62-117 to establish speed zones on Wattley Way, formerly known as FM 546.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• A separate item for consideration at this City Council meeting will designate the name Wattley Way for the portion of the old alignment of FM 546 from Industrial Boulevard to Harry McKillop Boulevard.
• This Ordinance will revise Section 62-117 of the Code of Ordinances to establish speed zones along Wattley Way.
• The physical limits of the speed zones along Wattley Way, formerly known as FM 546, will remain unchanged. The locations of the existing signage for the speed zones along this roadway will remain unchanged.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• No funds will be expended for this item.
