ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a contract with Niser Polymer Floor Co. for an Epoxy Floor Coating System at a tenant hangar at the McKinney National Airport.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued a request for proposal (19-49RFP) for the installation of an epoxy floor coating system at a tenant hangar at the McKinney National Airport.

o 153 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
• Out of 153 supplier notifications, three (3) proposals were received on June 6, 2019.
• A committee comprised of staff from the Airport and Purchasing Department, reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:
o 40 Points: Total Proposed Price
o 30 Points: Proposed Product/Service Meets the Objectives in the RFP and the City’s Needs and Requirements
o 20 Points: Firm’s Qualifications/Experience & References
o 10 Points: Warranty/Maintenance
Based on the results of the evaluated proposals, the evaluation team has recommended the award of this contract go to Niser Polymer Floor Co.
• Proposal includes a base bid of $52,250 and contains an add alternate for moisture mitigation at $1.95 per square foot as outlined in the proposal, if necessary.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for this project is currently budgeted in Project AI1908.
