RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a supplemental agreement with Fugro USA Land, Inc. to provide additional materials testing services for the construction of the Substandard Utility Replacement and Street Rehabilitation Project East of SH 5 (CO1704) for an increase in the contract amount from $40,088 to $92,084 and authorizing all necessary supplemental agreements under said contract up to an aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $110,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Fugro USA Land, Inc. is currently under contract with the City for materials testing services related to the Substandard Utility Replacement and Street Rehabilitation Project East of SH 5 currently under construction.
* The initial budget estimate was developed based on assumptions made of required testing to complete the project.
* As construction on the project has progressed, additional testing services have been requested due to an increased quantity of pavement replacement throughout the project. Additionally, adjusted phasing of construction has led to an increased quantity of testing needs. Fugro USA Land, Inc. has only performed observation and testing when scheduled and /or required by the City.
