ITEM SUMMARY:
• As per City Council Resolution 2018-10-119(R), the McKinney Arts Commission awarded a FY19 Art Grant of $8,000 to Arts & Music Guild.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Three concerts plus five days of camp were held in McKinney, with a total of 500 in attendance.
• Annual Art Grants provide financial assistance for up to 50% of the eligible expenses associated with annual projects.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• 70% of the $8,000 grant was awarded to the organization at the beginning of the fiscal year. Upon approval of the Final Report by the Arts Commission, the remaining 30% ($2,400) will be awarded.
• Arts & Music Guild reported actual expenses of $19,107.26.
