ITEM SUMMARY:
• The grant will provide scholarship tuition for approximately ten students during the calendar year, September 2019 through May 2020.
• The calendar year includes 36 weeks of art classes or 360 classes for in-need students in pottery, painting, collage, and mosaics.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.
• Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.
• JIA has previously been awarded Outreach Grants in 2017 and 2018, and successfully completed all grant requirements.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Projected expenses for this program are $6,000
• The current balance of Outreach funds is $4,000
