RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approve a resolution amendment appointing County Commissioner Darrell Hale to the TIRZ2 Board, correcting an administrative error.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* On January 14, 2019, the Collin County Commissioner's Court appointed Commissioner Darrell Hale to serve on the McKinney TIRZ2 board.
* On August 26, 2019, Judge Chris Hale was erroneously submitted for Council approval.
* Judge Hale has not actively participated, since no TIRZ2 meeting has convened since the appointment on August 26, 2019.
* Approval of this resolution will correct Resolution #2019-08-102(R)
* Approval of this resolution will result in the following TIRZ2 Board:

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* On September 21, 2010, the City Council adopted Ordinance 2010-09-035 establishing a tax increment financing zone ("TIRZ") known as Reinvestment Zone Number Two.
* Ordinance Number 2017-01-011 which amended and superseded Ordinance 2011-04-017 which established a Board of Directors comprised of nine members for the TIRZ and provided that the City Council shall be entitled to appoint a minimum of eight (8) board members to staggered two (2) year terms and also provides that the City Council shall endeavor to appoint a memb...
