ITEM SUMMARY:
• You’re My Favorites/Odysseus Chamber has requested an FY20 Project Grant in the amount of $10,000
• Grant funding will partially subsidize the cost of two performances: 1) The Happy Prince at the Church St Auditorium on February 23, 2020. 2) Antonio Carlos Jobim Tribute concert (Bossa Nova) at the McKinney Performing Arts Center on April 4, 2020.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Project Funds provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.
• Per Arts Grants Guidelines, Project Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $10,000.
• The Odysseus Chamber Orchestra is dedicated to deepening, strengthening and broadening its relationship with the communities it serves through music.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• There is currently $5,500 available in Project funds.
