RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a Standard Utility Agreement and any necessary supplemental agreements with TxDOT for reimbursement of expenses for the WA1630 Custer Road Utility Relocations Project from US 380 to FM 1461.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The design of Custer Road from US 380 to FM 1461 is nearly complete for TxDOT, and TxDOT's project is currently scheduled to let September 2020.
* TxDOT construction of Custer Road is anticipated to begin in December 2020.
* The relocation of the City's water lines is needed to address conflicts with TxDOT's proposed Custer Road improvements?
* This Standard Utility Agreement will establish the reimbursement percentage that the City will receive from TxDOT for the cost of the water relocations.
* Associated with the Standard Utility Agreement, the City will quit claim to TxDOT the existing water line easements within TxDOT's proposed ROW in order to receive the reimbursement funds.
* The City's utility relocation construction plans have been completed.
* This agreement must be fully executed before the City's relocation work begins in order for the City relocation work to be eligible for reimbursement from TxDOT.
