ITEM SUMMARY:

                     Receive update on the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTWMD) Sanitary Sewer Line project.  In October 2018, the City Council received an initial presentation on the need for the project and provided some direction to staff and NTWMD.   This direction included, but was not limited to, the following:

                     Identification of the social and environmentally sensitive areas along the potential project alignment;

                     Evaluate trenchless construction methods when necessary and/or available;

                     Coordinate with residents during detailed design period; and

                     Discuss potential impacts to sensitive parkland areas.

City staff and NTWMD have met several times over since the October 2018 meeting and collaborated on what is believed to be a preferred alignment for the project.   Staff from NTMWD will be on hand to present the update to the City Council.
