RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Approval of the attached Ordinance

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This Ordinance amends expenditures in the FY2019-2020 Annual Budget and the 2020-2024 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $1,500,000 from Parkland/Median Fund Zone 4 to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into PK4394 Senior Recreation Center Renovation project.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The construction documents for the Senior Recreation Center Renovation project were issued in December and bids have been received by Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC (BBC).

 

                     An accompanying Resolution to execute a contract amendment to the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services with BBC is also on this agenda for Council’s consideration.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     The attached financial summary details the transfer of funds in the amount of $1,500,000 from the Parkland/Median Fund Zone 4 to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into PK4394 Senior Recreation Center Renovation project.
