ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a contract with Ground Support Specialist, LLC of Horn Lake, Mississippi for the purchase of a New Aircraft Deicer.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued request for proposal (20-14RFP) for the purchase of a New Aircraft Deicer on December 1, 2019.

o 118 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
• Out of 118 supplier notifications, two (2) proposals were received on December 19, 2019.

o Ground Support Specialist, LLC
• A committee comprised of staff from the Airport and Fleet Maintenance Department, reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:
o 40% - Total Proposed Price
o 30% - Ability to meet the minimum requirements/warranty/additional components
o 20% - Delivery schedule
o 10% - Reputation of the bidder and of the bidder’s goods verified through reference checks
• Based on the results of the evaluated proposals, the evaluation team has recommended the award of this contract go to Ground Support Specialist, LLC of Horn Lake, Mississippi.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for this purchase in the amount of $186,429.00 is budgeted in the Airport department Fund 005 account, 005-4119-506-9204.
