ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a professional services contract to provide architectural and engineering (A/E) services related to the completion of design and construction of TKI Executive Terminal located at 1508 Industrial Blvd, McKinney, Texas.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• CaCo is a professional architectural consulting firm based in Dallas and has been the architect of record on multiple successful similar projects for municipalities including the McKinney National Airport.
• CaCo has submitted a proposal to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the design & completion of the TKI Executive Terminal for a lump sum fee of $199,717.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The TKI Executive Terminal project is included in the FY20 Capital Improvements Program plan and funds are available in AI1744.
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a professional services contract for architectural and engineering services, including potential changes to the scope of services, with CaCo Architecture, LLC for an amount not to exceed $219,717 which includes a contingency amount of $20,000.
• Upon approval of this item, $685,637.95 will remain in AI1744.
