ITEM SUMMARY:
• The interlocal Agreement (ILA) between Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) and the McKinney Urban Transit District (MUTD) will expire July 31, 2020. If DCTA does not approve to extend the ILA until December 30, 2020, MUTD will need a new transit service provider to begin August 01, 2020. This Request for Qualifications will be issued for all qualified transit operators to respond.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Denton County Transportation Authority Board will be meeting on June 25, 2020 to approve or deny the extension of the Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with MUTD from August 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. If they do not approve the extension, MUTD will need to find a service provider for the CCT program to begin service August 1, 2020.
