RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a Change Order to the existing Professional Services Agreement for additional owner's representation services related to Old Settler's Recreation Center Renovation - (OSRC) PK4398 and the Senior Recreation Center Renovation - (SRCR) PK4394 projects in McKinney, Texas.
* As requested, Spinelli Construction Services submitted a proposal to provide additional professional owner's representation services for the PK4398 and PK4394 projects for an additional fee of $48,200 which will be divided equally among the two projects.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Spinelli Construction Services is a professional consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas. Brenda Spinelli, CD, LEED AP BD+C is president of SCS. Spinelli, while a Senior Vice President of Aguirre Roden, a former full service architectural, engineering and construction firm, performed these same types of services for the City of McKinney for several years and different types of projects.
