BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Bloomdale Road from Community Avenue to CR 164 (CIP Project ST4227) is currently under construction with a projected completion date of Fall 2021.

Due to the proposed alignment of Bloomdale Road, existing gas lines owned by both Atmos and ONEOK are required to be realigned to cross Bloomdale Rd at or greater than a 75 degree angle.

Timber Creek and the City of MckInney entered an escrow agreement in order to share the cost of the relocation that was approved by council on October 15, 2019.

This agreement will relocate the ONEOK gas line that is needed to allow construction to be completed.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY:

The total cost of the relocation is estimated to be $443,700.00.  The City of McKinney’s portion is $221,850.00 (50%).

Upon approval of this item, $263,999 will remain in ST4227.
