RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $392,395.00, as well as required supplemental agreements thereto, with Dunaway Associates, L.P. for professional landscape architectural and engineering services for the renovations of Murphy Park and Mary Will Craig Park, for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $407,000.00.
* Approval of this item authorizes Dunaway Associates, L.P., to provide landscape architectural and engineering services to renovate:
o Murphy Park - 1601 W. Josephine. Built in the early 1950's and renovated in the early 1990's.
o Mary Will Craig - 2701 Bois D'Arc Road. Built in 1998.
* Staff reviewed the priorities/needs/costs among eight master plans that have recently been completed and selected Murphy Park and Mary Will Craig Park as the first to move into design development for construction.
