RECOMMENDED PARK BOARD ACTION:
* Approval of the Recommendation.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with Studio Outside Landscape Architecture, to provide planning and landscape architectural services for four new diamond fields, restroom/concession building, pavilion, parking and trail connections within Gabe Nesbitt Park.
* These improvements will be located immediately east of the existing baseball fields and south of the library and are being designed in accordance with the recent master plan update for the park.
* Ancillary improvements include additional parking, a centrally located restroom and concession building with storage, picnic pavilion and trail connections to the existing hike and bike trails that are within the park.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Studio Outside was selected from a list of pre-qualified landscape architectural firms that Council approved on June 18, 2019.
