ITEM SUMMARY:
• Colorful Collaborations will feature live music in Historic Downtown McKinney on Saturday, February 20 (possible back up date February 27).
• The performance is in support of Black History Month.
• The event is produced by the Legacy Keepers of Old East McKinney.
• The activities also support participation in other Black History Month activities including a self-guided tour of Ross Cemetery, McKinney’s historic African American cemetery.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.
• Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Outreach Grant funds will be used to support musician artist fees.
• Pending approval of the Final Report, the reimbursement will come from Outreach Grant funds.
