These services typically include design and/or analysis for traffic signals, traffic signal timing, roundabouts, roadway illumination, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and various traffic studies.

The City of McKinney issued a request for qualifications (21-19RFQ) for professional engineering services for traffic engineering in November 2020.

Twenty-eight (28) professional engineering firms submitted statements of qualification in response to the RFQ.
