ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a professional services contract to provide architectural and engineering (A/E) services related to the design and reconstruction of McKinney Fire Station 8 (MFS8) located at 3445 Alma Road, McKinney, Texas.
* Conduit Architecture + Design, LLC has submitted a proposal to provide professional architectural and engineering services for McKinney Fire Station 8 for a lump sum fee of $586,752.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Conduit Architecture + Design, LLC is a professional architectural consulting firm based in McKinney and has been the architect of record on multiple successful City of McKinney projects including McKinney Fire Stations 9 and 10.
* On February 20, 2018, the City of McKinney signed a resolution (2018-02-023R) approving pre-qualified firms to provide architectural and engineering services to the City of McKinney. Conduit Architecture + Design, LLC is one of the five architectural firms chosen to participate in the A/E vendor pool by RFQ 18-16RFQ for A/E Services for Multiple Projects in McKinney.
