ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a professional services contract to provide architectural and engineering (A/E) services related to the design and construction of McKinney Fire Department Headquarters (FDHQ) project (FI2111) located on Taylor Burk Drive, McKinney, Texas.
* Martinez Architects, LP has submitted a proposal to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the new McKinney Fire Department Headquarters for a lump sum fee of $2,096,800.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Martinez Architects, LP is a professional architectural consulting firm based in Houston, Texas and has been the architect of record on multiple successful Fire Department projects in Houston and surrounding areas.
* The City issued a request for qualifications (21-15RFQ) to solicit responses from qualified architecture firms.
