RECOMMENDED ACTION:
* Recommend that City Council approve a resolution for construction.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* The Finch Park phase 5 Improvement project includes a new expanded playground and splash pad area with a centralized pavilion, additional trails, entry signage, improved flat work and new landscaping.
* The project also includes 3 add alternates:

o Alternate 1: pickleball court

o Alternate 2: fitness court

o Alternate 3: bocce ball court with a seating area

* City staff worked with JBI Partners, a landscape architecture firm, on preparing the construction plans and specifications as needed for project bidding.
* Construction bids will be opening at 2:00 on September 9th. At the time of this agenda item preparation Staff does not know who the recommended contractor or what the associated contract price will be.

* This agenda item will authorize Staff to work with Purchasing on selecting a contractor and allow the recommendation to go to City Council on September 21.
