RECOMMENDED ACTION:
* Approve the recommendation to City Council.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* City staff worked with Parkhill and Spa Glass Contractors on preparing the construction plans and specifications as needed for project bidding of the indoor tennis facility.
* The construction documents were issued and advertised for bids by Spa Glass who received and compiled those bids.
* At the time of this agenda item preparation, Spa Glass Contractors, Inc. has not finalized the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).
* This agenda item will authorize staff to work with Parkhill and Spa Glass Contractors, Inc. in finalizing a GMP in an amount not to exceed $12,000,000 and allow the recommendation to go to City Council.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The original agreement for pre-construction services allowed for the GMP to be proposed after the completion of the design plans and bidding process.
