BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The HPAB consists of seven voting members who can be any citizen of the city possessing an interest, competence, or knowledge of historic preservation
• The HPAB shall fulfill duties and responsibilities in accordance with City Code of Ordinances, Sec. 146-166, and with the established bylaws of the board
• The Council will strive to appoint at least one of each of these to the board:
o Architect
o City Planner or representative of a Design Profession
o Historian
o Licensed Real Estate Broker
o Attorney
o Property Owner of a landmark or building in a Historic District
