* Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $1,218,655.06 as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Civil Consulting Group, PLLC for professional consulting engineering services for the Virginia and Throckmorton Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project (ST2235, WA2235, WW2235), for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $1,350,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The FY22-26 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes funding for comprehensive infrastructure improvements to Virginia Street between McDonald Street (SH 5) and Throckmorton Street, and Throckmorton Street between Virginia Street and Lamar Street.
* Improvements included in the project scope of work include a full reconstruction of Virginia Street between McDonald Street and Throckmorton Street, and Throckmorton Street between Virginia Street and Lamar Street. Design will provide improvements to underground utilities, storm drainage, street paving, pedestrian walkways/ADA accessibility, parking, landscape/hardscape, illumination, and other associated street elements similar to work recently completed as part of the "Light Up Louisiana" project and upcoming construction on East Louisiana Stre...
