RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute an amendment to the professional services contract to provide additional architectural and engineering (A/E) services related to the completion of design and construction of the TKI Executive Terminal (TKI-ET) located at 1508 Industrial Blvd, McKinney, Texas.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* CaCo is a professional architectural consulting firm based in Dallas and has been the architect of record on multiple successful similar projects for municipalities including the McKinney National Airport.
* As a result of the change in the General Contractor on this project, CaCo is requesting an extension for the Construction Phase to be completed no later than May 8, 2023.
* CaCo has submitted a proposal to provide additional professional architectural and engineering services for the design & completion of the TKI-ET for $35,659.
