ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes formal rejection of all proposals under Solicitation 22-46RFP Uniforms and Recreational Clothing
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued a request for proposal (22-46RFP) for uniforms and recreational clothing on September 1, 2022.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record.
o Posted on McKinney TV.
o 217 matching eBid supplier notifications which included fourteen (14) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
• Out of 217 supplier notifications, nine (9) proposals were received on September 22, 2022.
• A committee comprised of staff from Communications & Marketing, Public Works and the Apex Centre reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:
o 35 points: Pricing, Fees, & Discounts
o 35 points: Catalog Diversity
o 10 points: Proposed Web-based ordering
o 10 points: Delivery Time
o 10 points: Company Profile, Experience, & References
• During the evaluation of proposals, it was determined that the request for proposals was missing pertinent information that resulted with insufficient proposals being submitted.
• On Behalf of Communications & Marketing, Procurement Services will re-issue a Request for Proposals for Uniforms and Recreational Clothing.
