RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a Phase 2 GMP Amendment to the existing contract related to the design and construction of the McKinney Municipal Complex located in McKinney, Texas.
* The selected consultant, Pogue Construction Company, LP (Pogue) submitted a Phase 2 GMP proposal to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the McKinney Municipal Complex Project (MMC) for One Hundred Three Million, Nine Hundred Eighty-five Thousand, One Hundred Sixty-eight and No/100 Dollars $103,985,168.00 which includes a CMAR construction services fee of 1.95%.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* On September 6, 2022, the City Council of McKinney, Texas signed a resolution authorizing a Phase 1 GMP Amendment for Soil Remediation to the existing CMAR Agreement with Pogue.
* Pogue is ranked among the top five general contractors in North Texas. They are a McKinney Texas based firm and have successfully completed multiple projects for McKinney and many other municipalities.
