The Advisory Board consists of eleven (11) appointed members, including one (1) appointed by each member of the City Council; one (1) member from the Arts Commission Board; one (1) member from the Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB); one (1) member from the Main Street Board; and one (1) member from the Collin County Historical Commission. The Advisory Board is additionally authorized to engage in discussions and give research to Staff related to other artifacts or cultural items located on City-owned property that may benefit from additional review. The Advisoy Board was established by City Council Resolution No. 2020-07-096 on July 28, 2020. Staff shall report to the City Council on or before October 6, 2020, after which date the Board shall be automatically dissolved, unless extended by City Council resolution.
