RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This is a budget amendment for the Recreation Center at Towne Lake Renovation Project to allow for additional resources for the Center’s roof replacement.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• An accompanying Resolution for a change order to the Design/Build Services Agreement is also on this agenda for City Council approval.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Annual Budget and the 2025-2029 Capital Improvements Program by appropriating $937,010 from the Parks Construction Fund balance to the Capital Improvement Program for the Recreation Center at Towne Lake Improvements Project PK4397.
• With this amendment, the total project budget will increase from $5,427,550 to $6,364,560.
