ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes an award of an annual contract with BCAC Underground LLC of Haltom City, Texas for as needed storm drain cleaning & inspection services.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued an Invitation to Bid 25-46ITB Storm Drain Cleaning & Inspection Services on July 18, 2025.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 465 matching Bonfire supplier notifications, which included two (2) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers
• In response to all notices published, five (5) bids were received on August 7, 2025, from the following respondents:
o Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc.
o BCAC Underground LLC
o Pro-Pipe Services, LLC
o NG Companies
o Acme Utility Inspection Services, Inc.
• Public Works and Procurement Services recommends awarding the annual contract to BCAC Underground LLC, the lowest responsive bidder, for their ability to meet the City’s needs.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for one (1) year period with the option for three (3) additional one-year renewals.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Estimated annual spend for this contract award is $250,000.
• Funding is budgeted in the Surface Water Drainage account 006-4505-503-8516.
