ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes an award of an annual contract with TJC Worldwide, LLC of Pilot Point, Texas for Type 1L Portland Cement on an as needed basis.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued an Invitation to Bid 26-13ITB Type 1L Portland Cement on October 3, 2025.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 133 matching Bonfire supplier notifications, which included two (2) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers
• In response to all notices published, one (1) bid was received on October 23, 2025 from TJC Worldwide, LLC of Pilot Point, Texas.
• Public Works and Procurement Services recommends awarding the annual contract to TJC Worldwide, LLC, for their ability to meet the City’s needs.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for one (1) year period with three (3) one-year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Estimated annual spend for this contract award is $60,000.
• Funding is budgeted in the Street Maintenance account 001-4606-433-8307.
