ITEM SUMMARY:  
•                     This Resolution authorizes an award of a fixed price contract with WaterCentric, LLC and A N D, INC. dba A New Deal Irrigation for as needed Irrigation Repair and Installation Services.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  
•                     The City issued Invitation to Bid 22-25FP Irrigation Services: Repair and Installation on March 13, 2022.
o                     Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette
o                     Posted on McKinney TV
o                     434 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
o                     Out of 434 notifications, twenty (20) were Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB)
 
•                     In response to all notices published, three (3) bids were received on March 31, 2022.
 
•                     An evaluation team comprised of staff from Parks and Recreations reviewed and ranked the bids based on the following criteria:
o                     70 Points: Purchase Price
o                     30 Points: Response Time
 
•                     The evaluation team recommends awarding WaterCentric, LLC as the primary contractor and A N D, INC. dba A New Deal Irrigation as the secondary contractor. 
 
•                     Staff recommends a primary and a secondary contractor to help streamline and expedite projects and avoid project delays.
 
•                     Contract will commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with two (2) one- year renewal options.
 
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:  
•                     Funding for these as needed services is budgeted in multiple FY22 approved accounts.
