ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract and execute all necessary change orders with Champion Turf, LLC of Fort Pierce, Florida in the amount of $596,270.00 with a contingency of $53,730.00 for a not to exceed amount of $650,000.00 for the Oak Hollow Golf Course Green and Tee Box Replacement.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Oak Hollow Golf Course is an 18-hole par 70 Championship Golf Course and the greens and tee boxes have not been updated in over 20 years. By replacing the greens and tee boxes it will allow for better gameplay and overall better customer satisfaction.
• The City issued Request for Proposal 23-12RFP, Oak Hollow Green and Tee Box Replacement on February 19, 2023.

o 965 matching eBid Supplier Notifications which included 38 Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
• Out of 965 supplier notifications, two (2) proposals were received on March 16, 2023, from the following suppliers:
o Champion Turf, LLC
o Raven Golf Construction, Inc.
• An evaluation team comprised of staff from the Parks & Recreation Department and Oak Hollow Golf Course reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:
o 30 Points - Proposer’s Narrative Approach to Project
o 20 Points - Schedule
o 30 Points - Proposal Price
o 17 Points - Company Profile
o 3 Points - Attendance of Site Visit
• Based on the results, the evaluation team recommends awarding a contract to Champion Turf, LLC for this project.
• Upon approval, construction should begin in June 2023 with an estimated completion schedule of September 2023.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for this contract is available CIP Project PK1822.
• Upon approval of this contract, $42,182 will remain in PK1822.
