STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  Staff recommends the item be tabled and the public hearing continued to the June 9, 2026 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting due to the notification signs not being posted in accordance with the posted notice requirements outlined in the Unified Development Code.

ITEM SUMMARY:   The applicant requests to rezone approximately 2.13 acres of land, generally to allow commercial uses and a new and unlisted use (non-profit and community service center) and modify the development standards. A prior zoning case, 25-0083, has been before the Commission, this case seeks to include another parcel under the same prior Planned Development Standards.

This does not include emails or letters that may have been sent directly to members of the Council. As part of the Planning and Zoning Commission Public Hearing, Staff did not receive any citizen comments through the online citizen portal.
