ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a contract to Aglaea Enterprises, Inc. dba Speedpro Richardson of Richardson, Texas, Signarama of McKinney, LLC of McKinney, Texas and ARC Document Solutions, LLC of Walnut Creek, California, to provide fabrication and installation of Custom Signs & Banners to the City on an as needed basis.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued a Request for Proposal (RFP), 23-28RFP for Custom Signs and Banners on July 23, 2023.
o Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 695 matching eBid Supplier Notifications, including 44 Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers
• Of the 695 supplier notifications, seven (7) submittals were received on August 17, 2023.
• A committee comprised of staff from Communications and Marketing reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:
o 35 Points - Sample Quality
o 25 Points - Pricing/Percentage Discount
o 20 Points - Qualifications and Experiences
o 17 Points - Delivery Schedule/Time
o 3 Points - Local Vendor Preference
• Based on the resulting scores of the evaluated proposals, the evaluation committee is recommending the City move forward with awarding Aglaea Enterprises, Inc. dba Speedpro Richardson of Richardson, Texas, Signarama of McKinney, LLC of McKinney, Texas and ARC Document Solutions, LLC of Walnut Creek, California, to provide fabrication and installation of Custom Signs & Banners to the City on an as needed basis.
• Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a three (3) year period with option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for these services is budgeted in various departmental accounts.
