On September 19, 2023, City Council appointed a Bond Committee consisting of more than thirty-five (36) individuals focusing on Parks, Municipal Facilities, Public Safety, Streets & Transportation, and Finance. The Committee met throughout the Fall of 2023 to review relevant material.

On December 19, 2023, Bond Committee representatives provided information and recommendations supporting a bond election to be held on May 4, 2024.
