ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the award of a fixed priced contract with Ray Huffines Chevrolet, Inc. of Plano, Texas for GM Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Parts and Service.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The purpose of this contract is to provide Fleet Maintenance with the ability to utilize contractual services to obtain GM OEM Parts and Service under a fixed price contract on an as needed basis.
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 24-59FP, GM OEM Parts and Service on July 28, 2024.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 228 matching eBid supplier notifications which included five (5) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers
• In response to all notices published, two (2) bids were received on August 15, 2024:
o Ray Huffines Chevrolet, Inc. of Plano, Texas
o Stonebriar Chevrolet of Frisco, Texas
• Based on the results of the bid responses, Ray Huffines Chevrolet, Inc. of Plano, Texas, our incumbent supplier was the lowest responsible bidder and Procurement Services and Fleet Maintenance recommends the contract award to Ray Huffines Chevrolet, Inc.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for one (1) year period with additional four (4) one-year renewal terms.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for GM OEM Parts and Service is budgeted in the departmental AEOE accounts through 002-9999-603-8415.
• Estimated annual spend for this contract award is $90,000.
