• Approval of Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $233,233.00 as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Terracon Consultant, Inc. for professional materials testing services for the Construction of Runway 18 Extension (AI2452), for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $243,733.00.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Terracon Consultant, Inc. submitted a response to 24-13RFQ for Miscellaneous Geotechnical and Material Testing Services and was one of the six (6) firms shortlisted by City Council on March 05, 2024.
• Terracon Consultant, Inc. submitted a proposal for this project in the amount of $233,233.00 which has been reviewed by staff and is recommended for approval. Their scope includes the following elements:
o Earthwork Observation and Testing
o Cast-in-Place Concrete Observation and Testing
o Project Management and Administration
• Pending approval of this item, material testing would begin immediately.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The Resolution authorizes a contract and any necessary supplemental agreements with Terracon Consultant, Inc. for Construction Materials Observations, Engineering, and Testing Services for Construction of Runway 18 Extension for an amount not to exceed $243,733.00.
• With approval of this item, $3,913,259.00 will remain in Al2452.
