ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the award of a fixed priced contract with Sonic Richardson F, LLC dba North Central Ford of Richardson, Texas for Ford Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Parts and Service.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The purpose of this contract is to provide Fleet Maintenance with the ability to utilize contractual services to obtain Ford OEM Parts and Service under a fixed price contract on an as needed basis.
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 24-11FP, Ford OEM Parts and Service on November 26, 2023.

o Posted on McKinney TV
o 219 matching eBid supplier notifications which included four (4) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers
• In response to all notices published, two (2) bids were received on December 14, 2023:
o Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford of Farmers Branch, Texas
o Sonic Richardson F, LLC dba North Central Ford of Richardson, Texas
• Procurement Services reviewed and ranked the bids based on the following criteria:
o 75 Points - Purchase Price
o 22 Points - Reputation of the Bidder and of the Bidder’s Goods or Services -verified through Reference Checks
o 3 Points - Local Presence
• Procurement Services considered the overall pricing and the responses from the verified references of the two bidders. Based on the results of the evaluated bid responses, Procurement Services and the Fleet Maintenance department recommend the incumbent supplier, Sonic Richardson F, LLC dba North Central Ford of Richardson, Texas as the best value for the City.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for one (1) year period with additional two (2) one-year renewal terms.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for Ford OEM Parts and Service is budgeted in the departmental AEOE accounts through account 002-9999-603-8415.
• Estimated annual spend for this contract award is $150,000.
