• Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a Discretionary Services Agreement in the amount of $413,516.28 with Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC to relocate all Oncor facilities for the Virginia and Throckmorton Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project (CIP Projects ST2235, WA2235, and WW2235 - Formerly CO2235) for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $450,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City of McKinney Engineering Department and Facilities Construction have been coordinating with Oncor to relocate the existing overhead electric lines to be placed underground within the Virginia Street right-of-way between SH 5 and Throckmorton Street.
• Oncor will relocate all Oncor facilities underground, install pad mounted equipment, install underground conductor and install a few overhead facilities to transition back to overhead electric lines beyond SH 5. City of McKinney is performing all civil work that includes installing duct banks, equipment pads, and conduits.
• Construction of the Virginia and Throckmorton Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project (ST2235, WA2235, WW2235) is underway and is expected to be completed by Summer 2025.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a Discretionary Services Agreement with Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $450,000.
• Funding for this contract is included in the Capital Improvements Program ST2235.
o Project ST2235 - $450,000
• With approval of this and accompanying items for the Virginia and Throckmorton Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project, $60,526 will remain in project ST2235, $24,300 will remain in project WA2235 and $100 will remain in project WW2235.
