Sanchez Charities, LLC is working in collaboration with the McKinney Interfaith Compassionate Service Council for the McKinney Run for Hope: Walk in Unity event at Towne Lake Park on April 12, 2025.

They are requesting $10,500 for the promotion of this inaugural McKinney event.

Run for Hope: Walk in Unity aims to engage a diverse audience including various demographics, cultures, faiths, and interest groups from McKinney and surrounding areas.

The event will feature a 5K run, a multicultural/interfaith Unity Walk, and a family-friendly spring festival.

Event goals are to increase awareness of and raise funds to benefit the McKinney Neighborhood, promote unity, and inspire community collaboration.

They are expecting 1,700 attendees including runners, walkers, supporters and festival-goers.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The mission of Sanchez Charities, LLC is to leverage business relationships and skills developed over twenty years and concentrate the resources resulting from those relationships to improve the lives of McKinney residents where specific needs are identified. Strategic goals for Sanchez Charities are community development, reduction of food scarcity and hunger, and community enhancement.

The McKinney Interfaith Compassionate Service Council encourages interfaith understanding and collaboration among diverse faiths. By advocating for common causes and providing meaningful community service, the council works closely with local government to support community initiatives, like the NeighborHub.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
