ITEM SUMMARY:
• McKinney Community Development Corporation will conduct a public hearing on a project grant application submitted by ClubCorp NV (Invited Clubs) for infrastructure and site improvements to stabilize erosion of the creek at TPC Craig Ranch.
• Goal of the project is to provide a permanent solution to stop the loss of soil and to protect the TPC Craig Ranch course.
• Elements of the project include the construction of a large rock retaining wall on both sides of the creek.
• This project is essential to protecting the course, preserving the environment, providing an improved golf experience and contributing to the success of the Byron Nelson tournament.
• Board consideration will be contingent upon execution of an agreement to extend the commitment to host the CJ Cup Byron Nelson Tournament in McKinney for an additional five years (2026-3031), at minimum.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funds allocated for FY25 for discretionary Community, Economic Development and Pipeline Project grants total $7,459,257
• The request is eligible for MCDC consideration under Section 505.152 of the Texas Local Government Code.
