ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget, and the 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program to appropriate funding received from the McKinney Economic Development Corporation for the Airport Eastside Development and Infrastructure Project (AI2250) in the amount of $7,400,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The McKinney City Council approved the issuance of $15 million in sales tax revenue bonds from the McKinney Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) for the Eastside Development and Infrastructure Project (AI2250) on May 6, 2025.
• The remaining $7.4 million approved - amounting to a total of $22.4 million - will be appropriated in AI2250.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget, and the 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program to appropriate funding received from the McKinney Economic Development Corporation for the Airport Eastside Development and Infrastructure Project (AI2250) in the amount of $7,400,000.
