RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with AtkinsRealis USA Inc.to provide additional professional engineering services for the design of the Stacy Road Bridges Over Rowlett Creek Project (ST2547) for an increase in the not to exceed from $83,948 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $190,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* AtkinsRealis USA Inc.is currently under contract with the City for design services related to the Stacy Road Bridges Over Rowlett Creek Project. As design on the project has progressed, the following additional services will be required which were not included in AtkinsRealis USA Inc.'s original contract:
o Preparation of traffic control plans
o Utility coordination services
o Construction administration services
* Design of the project began in December 2024 and is expected to be completed by April 2026.
* AtkinsRealis USA Inc. submitted a response to RFQ 24-46RFQ for On-Call Roadway Professional Services. They were one of fourteen firms shortlisted by City Council on September 17, 2024. Resolution Number 2024-09-158(R).
* AtkinsRealis USA Inc. submitted a proposal for $83,324 for these additional services ($167,272 aggregate contract total), which has been reviewed by staff and exceeds the previously authorized not to exceed amount of $83,9...
