ITEM SUMMARY:
* The McKinney Philharmonic is requesting $13,500 for the advertising, marketing and promotion of the 2026-2027 Concert Series to include a minimum of seven performances.
* Request represents 100% of total promotional budget.
* Dates for the Season are February 5, 2026 (Pops); April 3, 2026 (Classical); May 23, 2026 (Side by Side Youth); June 12, 2026 (Pops); November 2026 (Chamber); February 2027 (Chamber); April 2027 (Chamber).
* Smaller concerts will be at Trinity Presbyterian and larger concerts will be at McKinney Boyd High School.
* Performances draw attendees from across DFW. Goal is to grow the audience and the number of season concerts.
* Total attendance for full season is 3,500. Attendance at individual performances ranges from 285-1000.
* Ticket prices range from $15-$25 depending on the show.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Formed in Denton in 2012, the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra moved to McKinney in 2014 and is dedicated to deepening, strengthening, and broadening its relationship with the communities it serves through music.
