ITEM SUMMARY:
• 25 Revolutions is requesting $15,000 for the advertising and promotion of Promotional Trailer for the expanded distribution of the Texas Music Revolution 25 Documentary, a feature-length documentary filmed in and highlighting McKinney, Texas.
• Request represents 31% of total promotional budget.
• The documentary follows the planning, production and ultimately the performances involved in KHYI 95.3 FM radio’s 25th annual music festival, the Texas Music Revolution.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• 25 Revolutions, LLC was established in 2021 to produce this documentary.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• MCDC’s allocation for Promotional and Community Event grants for FY 26 is $250,000; $125,000 for Cycle I and $125,000 for Cycle II applicants.
• 25 Revolutions was awarded a grant in an amount of $9,500 in FY 22 for advertising, marketing and promotion of the Texas Music Revolution Documentary.
